MEET OUR COACHES

 

 

Hey! My name is Bryan, and I am originally from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, but moved to Florence, Kentucky in 2009. I attended the University of Kentucky and just recently graduated in May 2016 with my Bachelor's in Business Management. I joined Orangetheory Fitness Lexington about 2 weeks after they Opened in August 2015 as a part-time sales associate and helped with the local community outreach. Month by month I fell more and more in love with everything about Orangetheory, it's members, the workout, and especially the difference we were making in peoples lives. In June 2016, I decided I wanted to be even more about the fitness experience, so I became certified as an Orangetheory Fitness Coach! Orangetheory not only helps you reach your goals in life, but it has also changed mine. When you ever see me at the front desk or around the studio, don't be afraid to introduce yourself and say hi!

Hey! My name is Tyler, I am originally from Georgia, which is where I was first introduced to Orangetheory Fitness and immediately fell in love with the energy and “fit-fam” mentality from all of the members. I grew up playing multiple sports so I like to bring a little competitive mindset to my coaching style. After receiving a bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology from Valdosta State University, I had the opportunity to work with elite level Ironman Triathletes. While working with these amazing endurance type athletes, I got to dive into the actual mechanics and science behind what these athletes were doing in order to extract any advantage they could over their competitors. This is where I developed a love for the mechanics behind performance. I wanted to take my education to the next level which brought me here to Lexington, Kentucky. I finished my Masters degree in Biomechanics at the University of Kentucky in May 2016( GO C-A-T-S CATS! CATS! CATS!) " I believe in Orangetheory and what it can help you accomplish. Join me in class and let me help you be your BEST YOU!"

Slater was born and raise in Owensboro, Kentucky, his love for fitness started with his dads boxing gym where he was the assistant trainer. This was where his love for group fitness began. He is currently in the Nursing program at the University of Kentucky and are so lucky to have him as one of our coaches!

HEART MONITORED TRAINING

 

Backed by the science of post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), our heart-rate monitored training is designed to keep heart rates in a target zone that stimulates metabolism and increases energy. Our clients burn an estimated 500 to 1000 calories per workout. We are 5 zone heart-rate interval training.

COACH SUPPORT

 

Working out in a group provides accountability and structure to help achieve fitness goals. You are more likely to get a great workout and better results from the well-rounded movements and pace direction you get in a group setting. The session motivates each other to pick up the pace and reach beyond plateaus. People who workout in groups stick to their goals more consistently than those that workout alone.
